The Devil Overview
The film's narrative centers on a political power struggle, where the son of a jailed chief minister is brought back to lead a succession campaign. Resistant and self-focused, he initially refuses responsibility, prompting a trusted aide to recruit a lookalike from a small town to temporarily assume his role. The lookalike navigates political challenges, engages with the public, and forms new connections, while contending with attempts to manipulate him and the pressures of governance.
Technical credits include music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Sudhakar S. Raj, and editing by Harish Komme. The production was handled by Shri Jaimatha Combines in association with Saregama and Yoodlee Films. Action sequences were coordinated by Ram Lakshman, and choreography was overseen by Santhu Master.
As The Devil moves through its first full week, box office observers will be monitoring its performance across weekdays and the upcoming weekend. The film's ability to maintain screens and showtimes amid newer releases will play a crucial role in determining its total run.
