Sandeep Pradeep, the young actor plays the lead role in Eko, which has now emerged as the clear winner of Malayalam cinema's new release season. Interestingly, the movie, penned by Bahul Ramesh has crossed ₹9 crore mark at the all-India box office.
Eko Box Office Collection Day 5
The recent reports by the box office tracking website Sacnilk suggest that Eko has already emerged as a clear winner at the domestic (all-India) box office. The mystery thriller has made a total net collection of over ₹9 crore from the Indian box office, within the first 5 days of its release. The movie has collected around ₹1.60 crore on its Day 5 at the theatres, which was also its first Tuesday after release.
While considering the current trends, it is safe to assume that the Sandeep Pradeep starrer is not going to slow down at the box office even during the working days, all thanks to the excellent word-of-mouth publicity. If things go at the same rate, Eko will cross the ₹10 crore mark at the domestic box office on its Day 6 at the big screens. More updates on the same are expected to be out very soon.

The film, which released on November 21, continues its theatrical run as Day 4 draws to a close today (November 24).
Industry tracker AB George shared the early worldwide numbers on X, reporting that the film has amassed an estimated ₹11.60 crore gross over its opening weekend. According to his update, Kerala contributed ₹5.3 crore, while the rest of India generated around ₹1.25 crore. The overseas territories collectively added ₹5.05 crore, pushing the global weekend total past the ₹11-crore mark.
If these figures hold, Eko has surpassed the opening weekend of director Dinjith Ayyathan's earlier film Kishkindha Kaandam, which had posted approximately ₹9.85 crore over four days. The current release has achieved that benchmark in three days, marking the best opening weekend yet for both Dinjith and Sandeep Pradeep.
