Kaantha Box Office Collection Day 5: Kaantha, the eagerly awaited historical drama starring Dulquer Salmaan, ended its debut weekend with a domestic total of about Rs 17 crore.
The Tamil film's box office profits rose on Saturday and Sunday, but there was a slight drop on the first Monday, indicating that the initial, extremely positive reviews might not have translated into sustained popularity throughout the weekend. The Sacnilk report states that on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Kaantha generated Rs 1.75 crore at the box office. After five days at the box office, Kaantha has made a total of Rs 17.40 crore. The Tamil film premiered at Rs 4.35 crore on Friday. The Dulquer Salmaan film earned Rs 5 crore on Saturday and Rs 4.5 crore on Sunday. It did, however, drop by Rs 1.8 crore on Monday and Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday.
Kaantha's Monday occupancy rate was 14.95% in Tamil Nadu. As anticipated, attendance during morning events was reduced, but in the afternoon and evening, it progressively increased. The film continues to draw a portion of the audience despite competition during the week, as evidenced by the somewhat superior performance of night shows.
