Abidi Abidi Song Takes Social Media by Storm Krithi and Kalyani Turn Belly Dancers

The first single from Actor Ravi Mohan's upcoming film Genie has been released. The exciting dance track, 'Abdi Abdi', features Kriti Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leading ladies. The costumes and choreography align perfectly with the song's mood and setting. Kriti Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshan underwent rigorous training for this song to execute the belly dance moves effortlessly. 

Even though the film is titled 'Genie', the song does not depict Ravi Mohan as a conventional Genie who fulfills wishes. Instead, he is portrayed dancing alongside the female leads, almost as if he is the one in charge or even controlling them at times. 

The song wraps up with 'Genie' making Kalyani Priyadarshan and Kriti Shetty float in the air, concluding with the movie's title. Composed by A.R. Rahman, the song features lyrics by Mashoq Rahman, vocals by Maysaa Karaa and Deepthi Suresh, and includes a rap segment from Freak. 

This marks the fourth collaboration between Rahman and Ravi Mohan following Ponniyin Selvan, Ponniyin Selvan 2, and Kadhalikka Neramillai.

Krithi and Kalyani light up the dance floor with their stunning looks, while AR Rahman delivers his signature foot-tapping score, making this song truly catchy. The captivating visuals combined with the rich orchestration create a flawless output. The costumes and choreography perfectly match the song's mood and setting.

Krithi Shetty and Kalyani Priyadarshani underwent rigorous training for this song to execute the belly dance movements effortlessly. AR Rahman excels in giving the tune a vintage feel, and the setting where the song was filmed is absolutely breathtaking.

Directed by debutant Bhuvanesh Arjunan, the film is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Films International.
