Kareena Kapoor Opens Up About Taimur’s Reaction to Paparazzi Ban

Kareena Kapoor is a delighted mother of two boys. The actress married Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and welcomed her first son, Taimur, in 2016, followed by her second son, Jeh, in 2021.

In a recent conversation on her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan's podcast, Kareena Kapoor shared insights about her children's reactions to being photographed by the paparazzi. She humorously recounted a moment when Taimur became upset with her simply because she requested the photographers to refrain from taking his pictures.

Kareena Kapoor mentioned, "Our kids are not yet exposed to social media, but they do get photographed. Unlike in the past, they now realize that their parents are well-known."

When Soha Ali Khan inquired if Taimur and Jeh ever wonder why they are frequently photographed, the actress responded, "Jeh doesn't ask since he's still quite young, but Tim used to. He has grown accustomed to being photographed, and when I once told the paparazzi not to take his picture, he felt hurt. He asked, 'Why did you stop?' I explained, 'Because you're not a star.'"

Kareena Kapoor continued, "He went through a phase where he tried to grasp why he couldn't be photographed. He would say, 'If you're getting clicked, why can't I?' So I clarified that I'm famous, and he's my son - not famous yet. Now he often says things like, 'I need to become like Messi or Virat Kohli, then I'll also get clicked.' He has come to terms with it now and no longer worries about the attention."
